What Happenned at the Canola Cookout Event!!

Blogadda gives me a call,                                        
And for the food I do fall,
At the Canola Cook Out Event,
I decide to Go,                                          
At the Canola Cook Out Event,
I got to know -

That Canola is a healthy oil,
For weight loss, you need not toil,
From chocolate samosas to kotmir to karenji,
Everything you could enjoy,                                                              
No, nothing about it is extremely dingy,
Because with Canola cooking ideas, did Pradnya toy,

Chef Ajay also gave us some,
Which I shall also share with you,
Oh yes! He did come,
And showed us a recipe or 2,

Mouth watering dishes he made,
I guess that is more than enough said,                                                
The food, I shall sit and eat,
While recipes you may read -

Chocolate Samosas (As told by Chef Ajay)

Add Pistachios and raisins to 80% dark chocolate. Make soft samosa dough out of corn flour and roll it. Add the mixture of dark chocolate into the dough and mould the samosas. Deep fry them. For better taste, dip these samosas into thick sugar syrup. Best when eaten away quickly.

Kotmir Wadi (As told by Chef Ajay)

Make a batter out of chikki, tea coriander, green chilli, ginger paste and ginger water. Also add fresh coriander and soda bi-carbonate to it. The batter shouldn't be too thick or too thin. Don't directly deep fry the wadis. Put them in a container first, steam it and then cool it. Deep fry these cool wadis. The wadi has to be crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.

P.S - Everything about the event from the table to the bloggers to the guests to the filter coffee was simply amazing.
